Our requirements:

• College degree
• ATA certification - if it exists for your language pair - is desirable but not required
• Demonstrated knowledge of technical subject matter and typical documents/events of the industry; software localization, computer hardware, legal, financial, telecom, marketing, training and development or medical expertise preferred
• At least 5 years of documented, professional-level experience
• Above average computer skills (thorough knowledge and possession of MS Office, HTML editors, Internet, email required; InDesign, QuarkXPress, PageMaker, Adobe Acrobat, DreamWeaver, FrameMaker helpful)
• Proficiency and possession of a translation memory tool (Trados, SDLX, WordFast or Déjà Vu) is highly desirable and required for most work
• Asian language translators must be able to deliver files in electronic format from a native operating system or from a widely used conversion program, or be able to embed fonts
